Welcome to Homecoming 2022!
 
We are excited to welcome you and your students back to the Astor Collegiate Academy family.  We have a lot of exciting things in store for everyone this year.  We are delighted that you have entrusted your child's care with us.  Rest assured, we do not take that responsibility lightly.  If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to contact any staff member using the directory using the link below.

Prior to the first day of school, students and families should complete the following forms
 - Lunch form: http://www.applyforlunch.com/
 
New students should submit immunization records to Ms. Laboy in room 277 (main office).
 
9th and 10th graders who want to participate in DYCD After-School Program should visit room 251 to register.

Eligible students will receive their metro-cards during their 3rd period class the first week of school.
 
The first day of school will be on Thursday, September 8, 2022.  Students should report to the building by 8am to allow time to get through scanning, pick up a copy of their class schedule, and have breakfast before their first class at 8:20am
 
If you have an ID card please bring it with you.  If you don't have an ID card be prepared with your OSIS number to enter the building.
 
We look forward to seeing everyone on Thursday, September 8th for the start of the 2022-2023 school year.

School Entry Procedures
Entry into the building begins at 7:45am. Classes begin at 8:20am. 
Breakfast will be available in the cafeteria for all students.  
Students should enter the building to go through scanning through door number 17 on the corner of Colden and Astor Ave. 
After scanning students can head up to Astor on the second floor using doors 14/15
Lunch Period
The lunch period this year is period 6 from 11:36am - 12:21pm.  
Bathroom Policy
Bathrooms will be closed the first and last 10 minutes of each class period.  Bathrooms will be open in the cafeteria for students to use upon entry and during their lunch period
School Supply List
  • Book bag
  • PE uniform (PE teacher will share ordering instructions the first day of school)
  • Correction fluid (White out)
  • Pens (blue/black ink)
  • Pencils
  • Erasers
  • 8 two-pocket folders
  • Colored post-its (multiple sizes)
  • 1 three-ring binder or Loose leaf or Subject dividers
  • Laptop or ipad

Students must also carry their school ID card and class schedule at all times. Any student needing to replace his/her ID must report to room 201 to request a replacement. A replacement costs $1.
