We are excited to welcome you and your students back to the Astor Collegiate Academy family. We have a lot of exciting things in store for everyone this year. We are delighted that you have entrusted your child's care with us. Rest assured, we do not take that responsibility lightly. Prior to the first day of school, students and families should complete the following forms
- Covid testing consent form on their NYSCA account: http://healthscreening.schools.nyc/

- Vaccination status: http://vaccine.schools.nyc/
New students should submit immunization records to Ms. Laboy in room 277 (main office).

9th and 10th graders who want to participate in DYCD After-School Program should visit room 251 to register.

Eligible students will receive their metro-cards during their 3rd period class the first week of school.
The first day of school will be on Monday, September 13, 2021. All returning students will be able to view their most current class schedule using their pupilpath account. All students (new and returning) will receive a printed copy of their schedule at morning entry on September 13th. We encourage all students to arrive early to allow time for entry and to get their class schedules.
We look forward to seeing everyone on Monday, September 13 for the start of the 2021-2022 school year.
School Entry Procedures
Entry into the building begins at 8am. Classes begin at 8:20am. Breakfast will be distributed during the first class of the day.
Students should enter the building to go through scanning through the cafeteria entrance on the side of the building. Students will need to show the completed daily health screening
Students will also need to show their student ID card or enter their OSIS number.
In order to help maintain social distancing while moving through the halls, students will follow the arrows to move to their next class.
The lunch period this year is period 5 from 10:48am-11:34am. Students should report to either the cafeteria or the library for lunch to maintain social distancing.
After school activities will be available for students to participate in.
Students wishing to participate in PSAL or other close contact activities MUST be vaccinated and submit proof on the DOE student portal linked below.
What to Bring Every Day
- Mask. You must wear a mask the entire day.
- Yondr Pouch with your phone turned off.
- Daily Health Screening. This must be filled out every day and show to enter the building using this link: https://healthscreening.schools.nyc/
- Laptop/Ipad with Charger! We will still be using these every day in class.
